For the Fall 2014 season, Recreational soccer coaches- Please note:
No more than a 6 goal differential between opposing teams is allowed in recreational soccer from ages U7 and up.

All Recreational League coaches and assistant coaches must read, understand and agree to abide by the Coaches and Assistant Coaches Code of Condut- Click here for more info

A New Jersey Soccer Association Kidsafe Form (link below) must be completed by each coach and assistant coach, and returned to an HYSA Board Representative before any uniforms will be given out for that team. No one will be permitted to coach the first game of the season unless their KidSafe Form has been returned.

Concussion Awareness Certificate
Coaches must take the test to acquire the certificate for Concussion Awareness

Stop Sports Injures
STOP Sports Injuries campaign, an initiative from the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, provides useful tools and resources to keep kids in the game for life. It's critical for coaches, that simply recognizing the signs of injury can help prolong an athlete’s career and well-being. Click here
 
It is highly recommended, that coaches look into acquiring an 'F' license. This will greatly assist their understanding and appreciation of the game, as well as better prepare them to effectively coach their team/s.
